Highland Hills United Church offers combined In-Person and Zoom services at 9:30 am. Masking is welcomed.
Brooksong Retreat & Cancer Support Centre / Haliburton Highlands Challenge Join the Brooksong Walkers (Mary Fox, Pat Thornett, Marybeth Wilson, Max Ward, Jan Heffer, Jane Symons and others) to walk for an hour and help raise funds for Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre. Or you can support any one of us with your donations. Contact any one of the Brooksong Walkers Team for more information.
Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next one is on July 11th. If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.
YOUR INVITED TO: HHUC Family “UNO” Game Night and Potluck on Friday July 26th at 5 pm HHUC Lower Level. Bring a friend and come enjoy an evening of fun.
Saturday July 27th 10 am – 2 pm – come and check out the UCW Bake Sale (with a variety of pies and baked items) happening in the Lower Level of HHUC. Everyone Welcome. See you there!
Upcoming Events at Hope United Church
· Starting Tuesday July 2nd – HUC will be having a Coffee Drop-In at the church from 9 -11 am each week
· Tuesday July 16th the HUC Ladies UCW is hosting a Friendship Lunch and guest speaker Nora Darling at 12:30 pm in the pavilion of Austin’s Saw Mill Park in Kinmount. Please RSVP by Friday July 10th to Barbara at 705-454-0729 or barbarachynoweth@hotmail.ca
Proceeds to UCW project: The Healing Fund. Please bring a lawn chair. If it rains we will meet at HUC, 7521 Hwy 35 in Norland. Hope to see you there.
· HUC Annual Yard Sale will begin Friday afternoon August 9th at HUC in Norland. Any donations to the yard sale can be dropped off at the church.
· Saturday August 10th Yard Sale and Bake Sale from 9 am – 2 pm. Items for the bake sale can be dropped off the day of the sale.
