Highland Hills United Church offers combined In-Person and Zoom services at 9:30 am. Masking is welcomed.
Please be advised that Dee will be on 2 weeks vacation, starting Tuesday September 24th, returning Tuesday October 8th. Rev. Max will be checking the office email and phone messages.
Brooksong Retreat & Cancer Support Centre / Haliburton Highlands Challenge Join the Brooksong Walkers (Mary Fox, Pat Thornett, Marybeth Wilson, Max Ward, Jan Heffer, Jane Symons, Debbie Sherwin and others) to walk for an hour and help raise funds for Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre. Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next one is on October 10th. If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.

Thanksgiving Food Bank Drive: September 22nd to October 13th You are invited to share food or money to purchase food for those in need. Let’s help others enjoy Thanksgiving too. Money does go farther as Minden Community Food Centre gets the best price for food.

The Unified Board Meeting has been postponed until Wednesday October 16th at 1:30 pm in the lower level.

Love Singing? Consider joining the Choir! Melissa and the Choir are seeking new voices to sing the hymns and an anthem each Sunday plus to prepare for the Christmas Cantata. Rehearsals are on Thursdays between 4:30 and 5:30 weekly. Join us for a limited time until the end of December or continue on being pat of the choir family indefinitely. All singing voices welcome!
Trinity United Church in Bobcaygeon is celebrating its anniversary service Sunday November 17th at 10:30 am. Everyone is welcome and lunch will be served afterwards. The guest speaker will be Tori Mullen.
Hope United Church Announcements:
· HUC will be doing another Drive Through Pie Sale for Thanksgiving on Friday October 11th from 1 pm till 8 pm or sold out. (If anyone would like to help come Tuesdays from 9 – noon. Sept 17th , 24th October 1st , 8th .
· Saturday September 21st the 51st Annual Joblin Walk-A-Thon will start at 10 am at the church hall. If you are unable to walk consider sponsoring a walker. We will enjoy homemade Chili after the walk at the church hall.
· Hope UCW invite you to enjoy a Roast Beef on a Bun in the church Hall Tuesday September 24th at 5 pm. Please RSVP by September 13th
