Highland Hills United Church offers combined In-Person and Zoom services at 9:30 am. Masking is welcomed.
December 17th – January 7th The church office will be on Flex hours. Dee & Rev. Max will be in and out between having family time over the Christmas Season. Please call ahead, leave a message or email a message if you need to see or be in touch with Dee or Rev. Max. Phone messages will be retrieved periodically during this time. The church office will re open Tuesday January 7th.
Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next one is on January 9th – no Diner’s Club in December. If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.
“Walk Away From Winter” Contact the Gardens of Haliburton at 705-457-4848 ext 105 if you are interested in a Winter stay at the Gardens. Winter Living is Easy at the Gardens of Haliburton.
Knitting For Warmth Will resume Tuesday January 7th at 1:30 pm. HHUC Lower Level. For more information about KFW contact Mary at 705-286-5173.
SAVE THE DATE: January 18th Doug Tindale will be doing a reading from his book “Tales from Wine of the Porch”, followed by a potluck dinner and table discussions. Details to follow.
Monday January 13th at 1:30 Lower Level of HHUC there will be the next Affirming Committee Meeting.
Tuesday January 28th at 1:30 Choir Loft of HHUC will be the next Outreach Committee Mtg.
Wednesday January 29th at 1:30 Lower Level of HHUC will be the next Unified Board Meeting.
