  Highland Hills United Church offers combined In-Person and Zoom services at 9:30 am. Masking is welcomed.

  PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, YOU MAY NOTICE THINGS MIGHT BE A BIT DIFFERENT AND WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE, AS WE WELCOME OUR PULPIT SUPPLY PREACHERS AND REV. MAX ENJOYS HIS SCHEDULED SABBATICAL WITH HIS FAMILY.

  Brooksong Retreat & Cancer Support Centre / Haliburton Highlands Challenge Join the Brooksong Walkers (Mary Fox, Pat Thornett, Marybeth Wilson, Max Ward, Jan Heffer, Jane Symons, Debbie Sherwin and others) to walk for an hour and help raise funds for Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre.  Or you can support any one of us with your donations.  Contact any one of the Brooksong Walkers Team for more information.

  Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next one is on September 12th.  If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.

  PASTRY WORKSHOP: If you have ever wanted to learn how to make GREAT PASTRY call Dee in the church office at 705-286-1470 and sign up for our first “Pastry Workshop” with Christena Barry.  You can attend either Sept 5th or Sept 19th held at HHUC from 10 am-12 pm. Cost is $20 pp and you take home your pastry.

  Thanksgiving Food Bank Drive: September 22nd to October 13th You are invited to share food or money to purchase food for those in need.  Let’s help others enjoy Thanksgiving too. Money does go farther as Minden Community Food Centre gets the best price for food.

  Knitting For Warmth Will resume meeting again on Tuesday September 10th.  For more information about KFW contact Mary at 705-286-5173.  Looking forward to seeing you all again.  

  Outreach Meeting:  The first meeting of the fall will be September 25th at 1:30 pm in the Choir Loft.  See you there.

  Wednesday September 25th at 1:30 pm The Unified Board will meet in the lower level.
